Funeral services were held Monday, June 24 at Hartquist Funeral Home, Pipestone Chapel.Interment was at the Old Woodlawn Cemetery in Pipestone.Linda Lee McCord was born to Herbert Leslie and Beaulah Mae (Logan) Kruckman on Sept. 23, 1947 in Dickens, Iowa. When she was eight years old she moved with her parents to Spencer, Iowa where she attended school. She moved to Park Rapids in 1965.On July 3, 1969 she married Norman McCord at the First Church of Christ in Storm Lake, Iowa. Following their marriage they lived in Storm Lake until April 1974 when they moved to Fonda, Iowa and then to Sioux Rapids, Iowa. In 1979 they moved to Maynard.  On Nov. 1, 1991 they moved to Pipestone where Linda was employed in the Housekeeping Department at the Pipestone County Medical Center until her retirement on Jan. 17, 2010.She was raised in the Lutheran faith.She is survived by her husband, Norman McCord, Pipestone and her son, Brian (Denise) McCord, Clancy, Mont.She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Kruckman; her mother, Beaulah Kruckman; her sister, Delores Kruckman; her three stepbrothers, Vernon, Wayne and Russell Sassman; her father-in-law, Harvey Luckow and  her mother-in-law, Glennetta Luckow.(Hartquist Funeral Home,Pipestone Chapel) ...
